Our story couldn’t be simpler. We were just looking for a healthy drink to nourish our daily routine, until we stumbled upon matcha.
We fell in love with it right away—the quiet rhythm of whisking the tea, the deep flavor, and that steady boost of energy that keeps you feeling good all day. But the more we drank it, the more we wondered: Why does every cup of matcha taste and feel so completely different?
That curiosity took us straight to Japan, right into the tea fields alongside local farmers. We got our hands dirty with everything—walking through the shaded tea crops, picking young leaves by hand, and standing quietly, listening to the granite stone mills slowly grind the tea.
That experience gave us our answer. Great matcha isn’t just about a bright green color that looks good in photos or fancy-sounding plant names. It comes down to the farmer’s care in every single inch of the land.
Today, we take those memories and standards we learned over there and use them to choose our matcha ourselves, every single time. We make sure it hits the mark in color, aroma, smooth flavor, and a level of clean quality we never compromise on.
For us, it was never about just finding good tea to build a brand. It’s about sharing a taste that stays true to its roots, and giving you the exact same feeling we had standing in the middle of those tea fields in Japan.
